Contentment can be hard to find. Much of the time we search for contentment in things, achievements or relationships. With meditation and contemplation practice, we can relax with ourselves as we are and appreciate simple human experience. Difficult emotions and the challenges of life can be met with gentleness, mindfulness and inquisitiveness.
No previous experience with meditation is required.
This course is open to all and provides a basis for subsequent courses in the Everyday Life Series and the overall Way of Shambhala path. The course also complements and looks further into topics introduced in Shambhala Training Level 1: The Art of Being Human and Level 2: Birth of the Warrior.
The course will be held over five Thursday evening sessions starting at 7.30pm and ending around 9.30pm for refreshments.
The cost of the course is £75. An early bird rate of £65 is available if registered and paid before September 7th 2017.
