with Peter Conradi & Jim O'Neill
August 24th—September 2nd
The focus of retreat-practice is to directly experience the awakening of mind and opening of the heart. We will offer teachings on Basic Goodness, letting go or Shunyata / Emptiness, and on working with fear and fearlessness. Bleddfa retreats started in 2011 and have proved a wonderful vehicle for both beginners and experienced practitioners, to deepen , to discover groundedness and self-confidence and to bond with a peer-group.
Shamatha - or Abiding Calm – meditation is one of the most profound and life-changing Tibetan Buddhist practices. It develops mindfulness and awareness, and calms us. Chogyam Trungpa Rinpoche specifically recommended Shamatha to be taught for Westerners on retreats.
Accommodation either at Bleddfa (dorms and camping in the orchard) or single/double rooms at Cwmygerwyn. Contact [email protected] for further info.
