When we arrange flowers in an environment with mindfulness and awareness, it becomes the practice of Kado.

Kado is a meditative, contemplative understanding of self, nature, space and perception and how they interrelate and depend on one other for true, authentic expression. This is an introductory course, open to all.

By practicing classical Ikebana forms, Kado teaches us to see the wisdom of nature clearly, which is the same in ourselves and others.  The weekend will be taught by Shastri Jitka Holubcova, Kado instructor, in continual training with Artist to the Court Marcia Wang Shibata from 2001.

If you wish to take advantage of the Early-bird price, you can make a payment of £135 before 21 May.  After this date the fee will be £150.

The weekend will take place at Chalford Village Hall, just outside Stroud on the A419, postcode GL5 2SF.
