Warrior in the World - Shambhala Weekend Retreat
"What if we said, ‘Yes, this is the way it is, this is what it means to be human’ and decided to sit down and enjoy the ride?" - Pema Chödrön
This weekend draws upon the strength and insight we gain from starting our meditation path to help us negotiate the larger world of relationships, work, and life in general. Everyday choices become clearer as we begin to step out of our habitual conditioning and open to the freshness of each new moment. We find ourselves responding creatively to even the most difficult situations, as we discover a range and depth of inner resourcefulness we never knew we had.
We learn to relate to our perceptions and our world directly through the practice of meditation, and we develop our capacity to relate to others and our environment with humour, kindness, and strength.
